The brief was to extract the domain valuation for a given list of domains from publicly available sales data from the website NameBio.com. NameBio has compiled sales data for over a decade from various sources and has close to a million data points in its database.Progress
StackScientist.com wrote a program that firstly took a list of domains and parsed them using Internet resources. This parses domains into their various words with astonishing accuracy. The Python script then extracts the sales data for those words from NameBio and computes a ranking for the domain. We use this tool every week.
